Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 48
Temperature: minus 15 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
A snow removal operation was underway. They were scattering a lot of snow melting agent on the road because a lot of cars had had difficulties climbing the last few days due to a bad road condition: hard ice (cf. Mt.Tokachidake 47). During the interval training at the summit, he met an alpinist who was descending walking to pick up his car. He explained him that he had let his car far from there as it had had difficulties climbing because of the bad road condition.
