Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 47
Temperature: minus 18 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
It lasted several days without precipitation. So the road had been covered with hard ice and cars had had difficulties climbing and descending. So the road had been closed temporarily until the road administrator scattered a lot of snow melting agent. Three hours before the training, it snowed and the road became snow covered at last. The road surface state became better for cars. At steep part of the climb, there was a trace of a car which had lost control because of the bad road surface condition. After the interval training at the summit, he descended. He passed a bus on the descent.
