Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 46
Temperature: minus 6 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
There was unexpected inversion layer this day. It was much warmer than expected at high altitudes. He wore too warmly. The road was mostly covered with hard ice. This new Schwalbe tires were good for this condition of road. They grasp the hard ice well. At the summit, many alpinists and skiers were doing their training (cf. Mt.Tokachidake 45).
