Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 45
Temperature: minus 7 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
It had rained the previous day. The road was covered with hard ice beneath the thin fresh snow. There was a tent village at the summit where many alpinists and skiers were doing their training because there were few other places where there was so much snow in this period of the year. The training was uneventful.
