Temperature: minus 6 degrees Celsius at the Kitami Pass

The east wind was strong because of a depression to the south. The snow was heavy because of a high temperature during the night. The route on the Kamikawa side wasn’t cleared of snow yet. You could descent without problem but it wasn’t easy to climb because of heavy fresh snow. After the interval training at the summit, he descended and climbed again from the Kamikawa side. As mentioned above, the climb wasn’t easy. He followed the trace of a X-Trail of road administrator to climb. But its ruts became unclear approaching the summit and he renounced to follow them. Passing the summit, he descended to the Shirataki side where the road was cleared of snow. He descended up to an altitude of 560m and climbed again up to the summit.
