Temperature: minus 8 degrees Celsius at the Kitami Pass
The temperature was high for this period of the year. After doing the interval training on the Kamikawa side, he passed the summit and descended up to the covered road. He climbed again from the Shirataki side. He passed the summit again and descended in the direction of Kamikawa. He did the interval training there. The road was covered with hard ice beneath the fresh snow. From time to time the visibility dropped because of the ground blizzard.
