Temperature: minus 5 degrees Celsius at the Zaimoku Pass
It was snowing hard intermittently. The snow drifts didn’t bother us much in spite of strong winds as the roads had just been snow removed. During the descent, the visibility went down considerably because of a heavy snowfall.
