Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 212
Temperature: minus 15 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
The road was covered with hard ice beneath the fresh snow. It made difficult to stand on the road without studs. But there was no problem for bikes equipped with studded tires. After the interval training at the summit, he descended up to the bifurcation situated at 1000m of altitude. He climbed up to the summit again. He met there a Swedish skier and chatted for a while. He had met this skier several times on this mountain. He did another set of the interval training before finishing the training.
