Temperature: minus 9 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
The road was covered with ice beneath the fresh snow. He needed more power than usual to climb because of the muddy snow. It was snowing intermittently. After the interval training at the summit, he descended. It wasn’t easy to control the bike because of the muddy snow.
