It was a radiative cooling. It was minus 17 degrees Celsius at the foot of the mountain. The upper limit of the inversion layer was situated at 800m of altitude. However, the mountains were covered with clouds. It had snowed a lot during the night. But the roads had been already cleared of snow. The training was uneventful.
