Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 171
Temperature: minus 16 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
It was the first time to equip a headlamp of Knog in order to be recognised in blizzard. The snow on the road was compacted up to 1000m of altitude but above it, the road was covered with fresh or muddy snow which required more power to climb. The rear tire lost the traction several times because of the fresh snow. After climbing up to the summit, he descended. He descended carefully up to the 1000m of altitude and below that altitude, he could descend normally at over 60km/h.
