Mikuni Pass 10
Temperature: minus 10 degrees Celsius at the Mikuni Pass.
It was supposed to do training at the Kitami Pass. However, the route to the Kitami Pass was covered with huge snowdrifts of 50cm. It was difficult to train there. So he diverted to here. Winds were strong and the visibility was low. He set all the tail lamps to full strength in order to be recognised by cars. The strong wind frozen the derailleur. Climbing was ok but he had to descend against strong head wind.
