Temperature: minus 28 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen)
It was minus 24 degrees Celsius at the foot of the mountain. The temperature was low. He wore clothes of 8 layers and a pair of gloves of 4 layers. He had to climb in strong head winds which were katabatic winds. The wires were frozen because of supercooled water in the air. The clouds dissipated in the latter half of the training. He repeated many times the interval training.
