Shirikoma Pass
Temperature: minus 11 degrees Celsius at the Shirikoma Pass
It’s the first time to ride on the Shirikoma Pass. The Shirikoma Pass is one of the highest mountain passes in the northern part of Hokkaido. At the Toikanbetsu Side (Horonobe Side), the road was covered with fresh and muddy snow and at the Nakatonbetsu Side, the snow on the road has been just removed. It was snowing at the beginning, but the clouds dissipated and we had a blue sky at the end of the training. The view of the Mt.Pinneshiridake (Mt.Pinneshiri) was so beautiful.
