Mikuni Pass 4
Temperature: minus 19 degrees Celsius at the Mikuni Pass.
It had tendency of radiative cooling. A cold air lake was formed on the Lake Taisetsu. So it was enough cold. The snow on the road was well compacted. He heard the sound of frost crack 4 times and one of them was just next to him. Diamond dust was falling from the sky. You could see the Mt.Taisetsu (Mt.Daisetsu) at the beginning but it was more and more covered with cloud. He did the interval training during the descent.
