Mt.Asahidake (Mt.Asahi) 13
Temperature: minus 13 degrees Celsius at the Asahidake Hot Springs (Asahidake Onsen)
The snow on the road was rather well compacted but it wasn’t compacted partially. Trees were covered with snow and soft rime. The climb was uneventful. A Subaru car caught him up on the descent. It’s very unusual a car can keep up the speed of bike on the descent.
