Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 102
Temperature: minus 16 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
It was minus 20 degrees Celsius at the foot of the mountain because of a radiative cooling. But we had more and more clouds and it started to snow. The seasonal winds were stronger and stronger. The content of bottle was completely frozen at 1200m of altitude. It was difficult to climb because of snow drifts several hectometres from the summit. The visibility went down from time to time.
