Temperature: minus 7 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
The snow beneath 1050m of altitude was unstable. He repeated the interval training between 1150m and the summit where the snow was stable. The quick release axle of the front wheel became loose during the training. He tightened it. A depression was approaching and its approach caused an augmentation of temperature. He terminated the training earlier.
