Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 72
Temperature: minus 5 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
It was snowing hard. A snow removal operation was underway. However, it snowed soon so much after the snow removal that it became difficult to climb. There was an abandoned car at 1130m of altitude. For cars which do not have enough power, it would be difficult to climb in this heavy snow. Moreover, the road surface temperature was high. Therefore, after the snow removal, a wet snow layer emerged. But the wind made it crusted soon and it snowed a lot over it. In consequence, the fresh snow concealed the hard ice beneath. It was a difficult condition for cars. The interval training was not easy this day because of the heavy snow. After the training, he saw a car which had gone out of the road. The snow of this day wasn’t friendly to cars.
