Temperature: minus 4 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
The road was covered with ice at low altitudes and compacted snow at high altitudes. Ruts made of ice beneath the snow have been making difficult to ride smoothly. He climbed two times and did the interval training each time. He descended carefully because of the ruts.
