Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 39
Temperature: minus 1 degree Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
We were in the latter half of May. It snowed even at the foot of the mountain. It’s very rare to have so much snow in this period of the year. The road was covered with heavy and thick snow. It was almost impossible to do training smoothly because of this heavy snow. He waited for a snowplough. After the snow removal, the road surface condition became ok and he did the interval training at the summit.
