Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 38
Temperature: minus 8 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
The road was covered with hard ice beneath the snow. The last part of the climb, there were huge snowdrifts that bikes couldn’t get over. He had to walk to get over the huge snowdrifts. During the interval training at the summit, a snowplough came. After the snow removal, the snowdrifts were gone. He could continue his training comfortably.
