The road was covered with well compacted snow. The katabatic wind was strong. The moon was beautiful during the first climbing and the first descent. After the second climb, he met two skiers from Scotland and three skiers from Alaska. They were familiar with cycling and they knew the bikes well. He talked with them for a while. After the interval training at the summit, he descended. At the end of the training, he met a group of skiers from Lucerne. He talked with them for a while. One of them had a mechanical problem with his snowboard. He lent him some tools to fix it.
