Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 21
Temperature: minus 27 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
One of taillamps shut down soon after the start because of the cold. It was a super beautiful day. Trees were covered with soft rime above 900m of altitude. They had been cloud covered during the night. The temperature dropped down rapidly entering the KTV (katabatic valley) as a radiative cooling was getting stronger. He did the interval training at the summit. He repeated many times. In the meanwhile, the temperature got much higher and the taillamp which had shut down got to work again. He did the interval training during the descent as well.
