Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 18
Temperature: minus 19 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
Dr.K and K participated in this training. It was cold in the morning because of a radiative cooling. Dr.K wore gloves and shoes which heat themselves with batteries. They climbed slowly talking together. The hard rime was beautiful above 900m of altitude. The diamond dust was falling during the training. Dr.K was left behind several times during the climb. K waited for him several times. K arrived at the summit first. Dr.K arrived there 3 minutes later. They began to descend. K arrived first at the foot of the mountain and Dr.K arrived there 3 minutes later.
